Mike began his career with Morgan Stanley right out of college, gaining valuable investment training from some of the top industry experts in New York. He later joined longtime friend Brian Redders at Lincoln Financial Advisors/Sagemark Consulting in the pursuit of providing a more comprehensive wealth management experience to his clients. Ultimately, the pursuit led to the launch of Genex Consulting. As co-founder of Genex Consulting, Mike oversees the Business Succession, Retirement Planning and Investment Planning Departments at the firm.
Mike has a passion for helping others which has driven his success in the financial planning industry. For Mike, the most rewarding part of the job is earning the trust of the client. He never takes his client’s trust and confidence for granted. Trust and confidence are gained through his ability to listen and understand the client’s needs while helping them pursue their business and personal financial goals. The opportunity to enable clients to have more time to focus on their true life experiences is paramount to Mike.
Mike is happy to have called St. Louis home his entire life. He and his wife, Kris, were married in 2003, and live in Glendale with their three children, Ben, Sam and Lexi along their family dog, Maggie. When not spending time with his family Mike enjoys playing golf, soccer and exercising. In addition, some consider Mike to be the leisure sports king. Mike has a strong belief in giving back to the community which has led him to currently serve on the development board of SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center.
